I support North Carolina’s teachers. I want to recruit and retain highly qualified career teachers for every classroom in the state. Teachers need to be paid salaries at or above the national average and they need career status protections in order to advocate for our children. They deserve professional respect and they need adequate per pupil funding for resources necessary in the classroom.
