Please vote NO on HB755 and acknowledge all of the hard work our educators do to work productively with parents and create a safe environment for ALL students. Don’t add unnecessary barriers in the teacher-student relationship and don’t add even more burden on teachers by requiring them to respond to every parent demand within 7 days. Please recognize that we already have a massive teacher/staffing shortage. Do what you can to KEEP educational professionals rather than drive them out of the profession. If you believe this bill is important enough to keep (and I hope you do not), you should make it apply to all schools receiving public funds, including charter schools and private schools receiving voucher money. Thank you.
